Hello and welcome to Carthage! I'm glad you're here!

My name is Miss Dixie and I would like to offer my step-on guide services as an extension of your planned trip to beautiful Carthage, Missouri. You will enjoy beautiful Victorian homes, the magnificent Romanesque courthouse, Civil War museum and battleground, picturesque parks, and abundant art. You can disembark and stroll around our quaint square, shop for antiques, or enjoy a cool drink and snack at the 50’s style deli.

Tours can be customized to your groups' interest or time allowed. I would consider it an honor to be your guide. Please contact the Carthage Convention & Visitors Bureau toll-free 866-357-8687. Step-on guide services are just $50 per hour, with a minimum of 20 people in your group. Groups with more than 50 will incur an additional charge.
